I assume you are reading this because you want to hear a bit more about the book so here are some more details:

What is the book about?

Each chapter of the book discusses one particular Investor. Sometimes William Green mixes in some other Investors but in general each chapter discusses one Investor and what made the person successful.

The book starts of with Mohnish Pabrai and this Chapter is a real page turner. To me Mohnish Pabrai is one of the best thinkers of our times and I must’ve finished the chapter in one sitting.

Richer, Wiser, Happier Book

Other Investors that are getting discussed in the book are Sir John Templeton, Charlie Munger, Jack Bogle, Ed Thorp, Guy Spier, Bill Miller, Laura Geritz, Joel Greenblatt, Howard Marks and last but not least Nick Sleep.

From what I’ve been seeing online a lot of people love the Nick Sleep chapter and to me its one of the highlights of the book as well. Outside of the Value Investing community Nick Sleep might not be well known but to me he is one of the best Investors out there and definitely worth listening to. His chapter will teach you a lot about conviction and portfolio concentration. He and his partner Qais Zakaria achieved amazing returns with just a few stocks. I don’t want to give away too much but they also invested in places like Zimbabwe. Talk about looking for overlooked opportunities!

The book is an easy read. It’s not very complicated to follow it and you don’t need a degree in finance to understand it.

Who is this book for?

The book is for everybody out there who is interested in Investing. If you’re just starting out its a great way to show you how some of the best Investors approach Stock picking and Markets.

If you are already an experience Investor you will still learn a lot from it as well. This is a book that should be read by anybody !

Would you recommend this book ?

Yes absolutely. I must’ve read more than 50 books on Investing and this would immediately go into my top 5 of books. It’s a very easy read that can get the point across. William Green basically built in the gold nuggets into the Stories. I will probably re read the book in a few weeks. Good reads rates it at about 4.6 as of today which confirms that this is one of the best Investment books out there at the moment. I give this book a 5 out of 5 because I haven’t read many better books yet.

If you haven’t read it yet then I highly recommend that you grab a copy of Richer, Wiser, Happier by William Green on Amazon
